Huatech Chemical Synthesis Kettle Circuit Breaker Optimization and Upgrade Project Successfully Energized

Jun 01,2026 | Huatech

Recently, the chemical synthesis kettle circuit breaker upgrade project undertaken by Huatech for Shandong Shihua Chemical was successfully completed, including all construction and commissioning work, achieving a one-time successful power energization. This marks a critical milestone for Huatech in the upgrade of electrical control systems for core production equipment, laying a solid power foundation for the continuous, stable, safe, and high-output operation of the synthesis kettle.

Chemical production involves special operating conditions. As a key piece of equipment for continuous and fine chemical processes, the synthesis kettle requires frequent and periodic switching operations based on reaction processes, material ratios, temperature and pressure control requirements. The original traditional circuit breaker mechanism was designed mainly for conventional low-frequency switching scenarios and could not meet the demanding requirements of long-term, frequent switching of the synthesis kettle. Prolonged operation led to issues such as unstable closing, mechanism jamming, slow response, and excessive component wear. These problems not only increased maintenance frequency and operational costs but also introduced electrical safety risks, restricting the full-load stable production of the synthesis kettle.

To address the specific frequent-switching characteristics of the synthesis kettle, Huatech's technical team conducted targeted research and precise implementation, focusing the upgrade on the closing holding module and operating mechanism. By combining operational data such as actual start/stop frequency, load fluctuations, and operation cycles, the team optimized the structural layout of the closing holding module, upgraded the transmission components, improved the latching structure, and refined the mechanical action logic and force distribution, enabling the equipment to fundamentally adapt to high-frequency switching demands.

The newly optimized circuit breaker closing holding mechanism features outstanding advantages such as fatigue resistance, wear resistance, fast response, and strong holding stability. It reliably adapts to the kettle's round-the-clock frequent switching mode, effectively avoiding common problems like closing failure, mechanism faults, and insulation aging. At the same time, the upgraded equipment offers precise and controllable switching actions, significantly improved closing holding performance, and comprehensive enhancements in electrical safety, service life, and operational adaptability, substantially reducing future failure risks and routine maintenance workloads.

The successful energization of this circuit breaker upgrade project not only resolved the long-standing challenge of electrical equipment adaptability for synthesis kettle operations and addressed the shortcomings of switching devices under high-frequency conditions, but also represents an important practice for Huatech in advancing safety-driven and intelligent equipment upgrades. Moving forward, Huatech will continue to deepen technological innovation in chemical electrical equipment, continuously optimizing the performance of core production assets through specialized upgrades. With reliable power support, the company is committed to enhancing safety, reducing energy consumption, improving efficiency, and injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the chemical industry.
